Sun protection, cleansing and creams, taking care of your beard, hair, oral hygiene and fragrance – this is what everyone should remember. These are habits that, as the name suggests, require regularity.

It is accepted that it is mainly women who take care of their skin and complexion, use specific products or treatments. However, men should also focus on care, so that their skin will not only look better, but also significantly improve its condition. We present a list of habits that every man should implement in his life.

Sunscreen’s daily friend

Sunscreen is not a cosmetic that we use only (if at all) on vacation. It’s important to know that UV rays not only cause your skin to age, they also make it dry, dehydrated, make old wrinkles visible and new ones appear, and add to that all sorts of minor or major blemishes – not a good look by any means.

Protecting your skin daily is important no matter what time of year it is. For the face, choose a minimum of SPF 30 and preferably SPF 50. The most popular are cream filters, which are simple and quick to apply in the morning.

In the summer, when sun exposure is longer and stronger, you should repeat the application during the day. In addition, if you are on vacation, enter a swimming pool or the sea, then all the more reason to remember to reapply sunscreen to your face.

And in the evening – care!

At night, not only our body but also the skin has time to regenerate. Therefore, it is important to simply allow it to do so. How? First of all, it should be cleaned. Water with soap, although often used, can irritate the skin, causing it to dry and tighten. It is better to reach for a washing gel whose pH is appropriate.

Then apply a night cream tailored to the needs of the skin – moisturizing, nourishing or anti-wrinkle (by the way, let’s also apply it to hands, which will keep them in good condition). Well-kept skin makes us look younger and more radiant. It is also good to remember about rest and proper amount of sleep.

Beard without styling? Absolutely not!

Beards are becoming more and more popular and many men are choosing to grow them. No wonder. Not everyone has the patience or the will to shave the beard every day. Beard is a convenient solution, but you need to pay attention to style it properly. This can be done at a barber shop or on your own. Here, however, it is important to keep in mind the length of the beard. Running the trimmer all over from one side to the other on one setting is not recommended.

Trimmers come with a variety of tips that allow you to customize the beard to fit your face shape and character. Some people will look better with a mustache, others without, some with severely shortened sides, others with a goatee.

It is also a good idea to equip yourself with a beard brush and beard oil or balm. These products can be purchased at any drugstore.

Of course, you should not forget about hair and scalp care. Apart from shampoo you should also apply conditioner and if you suffer from dandruff you will need appropriate cosmetics. If you suffer from dandruff you will need suitable cosmetics.

Change your toothbrush often!

Oral hygiene is very important. Brushing thoroughly in the morning and at night (and ideally after every meal) is an absolute must. You should pay attention to the hardness of your toothbrush, which should not irritate your gums, and its frequent replacement. A toothbrush should be replaced with a new one after about three months.

You should also get used to dental floss. It helps get rid of debris from the smallest nooks and crannies of interdental spaces.

Oral hygiene is important not only for aesthetic reasons, but also for health. Gum disease can increase the risk of Alzheimer’s, esophageal cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular and heart disease, and even cause erectile dysfunction.

Perfume for everyday and special occasions

Finally, there is still the smell. Every well-groomed man should remember about perfume. Properly chosen can affect the reaction of the environment and how we will be perceived. It is such an icing on the styling cake.

How to care for white shirts?
Every man has his favorite white shirt in his closet. However, not everyone knows how to take care of it. Collar, cuffs, sleeves, button fastenings - shirts have a complex cut full of many nooks and crannies that can easily get dirty or damaged. If you're tired of deodorant stains, folds, and other signs of premature wear and tear on this garment, read this article. Here's how to take care of your white shirts. Buy quality shirts First of all, remember that you should always, or at least often, put quality over quantity. A 65% polyester and 35% cotton shirt made in Bangladesh for £50 will not last you for years, even if you try to look after it. Although the price is not a guarantee of quality, it is worth paying attention to the material. Look closely at what the shirt is made of, how it is finished and make a checklist of points to check. When all of these points are "ticked off," you will know that a particular shirt will last with you for at least a few years Don't always wear the same shirt A practical rule of thumb for keeping clothing in good condition is to avoid over-wearing it. Just like with a pair of nice shoes, don't put on the same white shirt several times a week! The more times you put it on, the sooner you'll have to say goodbye to it Choose the right wash program The washing machine is a good friend to men, but it can quickly become your clothes' worst nightmare. For white shirts, try to follow the directions on the label. If you're not sure how to wash your shirt, don't go above 40° and don't wash it by hand. Also take care of the washing cycle, do not overload the machine and pay attention to the colors of the clothes you put into it. Wash white shirts only with other white clothes and use a special white washing powder. If necessary, use a stain remover before washing Avoid the dryer, just use a good hanger Once your shirt is clean, take it out of the washing machine as quickly as possible so that it doesn't wrinkle too much and absorb the unpleasant smell caused by moisture. Even if you have the option of putting it in the dryer, don't. Your best bet is to lay the shirt out on a fairly large wooden rack and stretch its sleeves well to keep them from creasing. This will make ironing easier later Make sure the shirt is clean before ironing Before ironing, take a close look at your shirt to verify that it is clean. If there is still a little dirt on it, wash it again and then let it dry. Stubborn stains can come from laundry detergent if you poured too much of it into the washing machine. Hang up your shirt properly If your shirt is clean and ironed, it's time to put it in the closet. After ironing, wait for the fabric of the shirt to cool down. Avoid metal hangers that can distort the sleeves. The hanger should be made of wood or plastic with fairly wide edges and, if possible, rounded on the sides Make sure your deodorant has dried before you put on your shirt Deodorants in beads or sprays provide an "anti-yellow stain" effect. However, yellowish underarm stains can still appear on your white shirt. To solve this problem, remember to wait for the deodorant to dry before you put on your shirt. Wet deodorant should not come in direct contact with the fabric
