Shaving isn’t an art form, right? Wrong! As you’ll learn in this article, there’s much more to shaving than just picking up a razor and hoping for the best. We’ve got tricks and tips to help you get the perfect shave every time with amazing men’s shaving products

Steps to Prepare Your Skin For a Close Shave

If you want to get a close, smooth shave, it’s important that your skin is properly prepared. Here are some tips and tricks to help you achieve the perfect shave.

-Exfoliate your skin before shaving. This will remove any dead skin cells which will provide a smoother surface for shaving. Plus, exfoliating removes oils that can clog pores so it can actually prevent ingrown hairs or acne breakouts in the future!

-Moisturize after shaving. This not only helps moisturize dry patches on your skin (if any) but also seals in moisture from hydration products so your skin stays soft and smooth all day long!

-Choose an appropriate razor for your hair type.

What does every man need in his toolkit?

Well, a razor is a must, but shaving cream, aftershave lotion or balm can take your shave to the next level. So what’s the best way to get that perfect shave? Here are some tips for getting closer than ever before.

-Lather up your face with foam or gel, making sure to cover all areas from chin to forehead.

-Use short strokes in one direction rather than long strokes against your hair growth. -Take care to avoid going over the same area more than once as this will irritate the skin and make it redder.

What Ingredients Should You Look Out For?

Ingredients are a huge factor in any product, so it’s important to know what you’re putting on your skin. Your best bet is to look out for ingredients with natural or organic origins that don’t have harsh chemicals. Shea butter is great if you have sensitive skin, as it moisturizes without clogging pores. Another great ingredient to look out for is tea tree oil, which has antibacterial properties. Make sure that your shaving cream doesn’t contain alcohols such as stearic acid or propylene glycol–these are known irritants that can dry out your skin.
